Nebraska Auto Insurance Coverage Requirements
Nebraska state law prohibits operation of a motor vehicle without proper car insurance. All drivers must have as part of their insurance package: bodily injury liability and property damage liability. They also must have coverage up to the minimum limits. The bodily injury per person is $25,000 and the minimum for bodily injury per accident is $50,000. The property damage liability minimum requirement is $25,000.
