Illinois drivers are required to have two types of auto insurance coverages before they are permitted to drive. These two types are are bodily injury liability and property damage liability.

Property damage liability pays for your financial obligation for the damage you caused in a car accident to a third party’s property. The minimum required for property damage liability is $15,000.
